A 20 year old business that had been burned before

Reggie Williams has run Flooring Makeovers in Stone Mountain, Georgia for over two decades. By the time we spoke he had already been through several marketing companies, and his opening position was straightforward scepticism. In his words, he had been burned a time or two.

That is the hardest kind of client to win and the best kind to keep. Somebody who has paid for this before knows exactly what a bad month looks like.

What he said changed

In their words

"Our revenue was up about 30% consistently since we started working with Mr. Sims, and our ad spend has dropped significantly since that time. For someone like me who is very, very sceptical about marketing companies, because I have been in business for over 20 years, he told us exactly what he could do, and he delivered exactly what he said he was going to deliver."

Reggie Williams

Owner, Flooring Makeovers, Stone Mountain GA

Revenue up about 30%, consistently. Not a spike in one good month. The word he used was consistently, over roughly six months of working together.

Ad spend down at the same time. That combination is the one that matters. Revenue rising while spend falls means the money is landing on the right people rather than simply buying more reach.

He stayed. Six months with somebody who had been burned before is its own result.

Why it worked on a business this old

A 20 year old flooring company is not short of reputation or skill. What it lacked was a predictable way to turn advertising money into booked estimates, which is a different problem from the one most agencies solve.

The work was ordinary and unglamorous: get the right offer in front of people actually shopping for floors, answer them quickly, and cut the spend that was not producing. Doing that consistently for six months is what produced the number.

What is and is not disclosed here

The numbers on this page are the ones the owner stated on camera, in their own words. Ad spend, campaign structure and contract values are not published, because they were not disclosed and we will not estimate them.

This was hands-on work: Tyrone ran these accounts himself. It predates any of our software. These owners are not software customers.
